Mineola Knitting Company has over 60 years of collective experience in the textile industry. Our expertise in both knit production and in yarn manufacturing as well as global sourcing, fit seamlessly together and solidifies the foundation for crafting beautiful heirloom quality products thus enabling us to offer our clients a unique personalized experience. Mineola Knitting Company, in collaboration with local artisans, expertly crafts customized knit blankets, pillows, scarves as well as other knit products, all proudly made in the USA.
Materials, Care and Personalization
Our Merino wools from Italian legacy mills are subtle and soft to the touch, machine-washable for easy care, and exceptionally warm. Our Egyptian cotton, spun in Egypt with extra-long Giza 86 cotton fiber, provides a yarn full of softness and strength. Our blankets offer a laser engraved label of ultra-performance Alcantara Suede which is pliable and ready to be personalized to your preferences. All of our superior yarns are dyed in a wide array of colors to offer you unlimited options for your bespoke throw blanket.

Our environmental responsibility is founded on both our local on-demand manufacturing model and a responsible stocking program. Because we knit, finish and ship your blankets to order, we do not make more than we sell, hence eliminating the over-production and environmental pollution problems that are typical of the textile industry. We strongly believe that the local, on-demand production model is the true solution to global carbon footprint reduction.
We are New York proud. All of our products are knit by our in-house team in Mineola, Long Island, New York. We are local and personable and are always glad to hear from our clients.
